Description: Drummer extraordinaire and Belmont percussion instructor since 1998, Chester Thompson will share his performance and recording experiences providing CEMB students a glimpse from a musician's perspective. From Jazz (Weather Report), to Rock (Frank Zappa and the Mothers), to Pop (Genesis/Phil Collins) to Gospel (Ron Kenoly), Chester brings to light his passion for the industry and how he has survived and influenced music and musicians for over three decades. Seminar is open to ALL CEMB majors.
