Ideal candidate will…(list of attributes and skills): ● Candidates should be self-motivated and intellectually curious
● Preference for upperclassmen and/or those with prior co-op/internship experience.
● Basic Photoshop-related skills are a plus, but not required.
PERFORMANCE TASKS: During this internship, the student will… (list of tasks, responsibilities and potential projects): ● Work with our digital strategist to maintain client websites, social networks, and other online properties.
● Provide A&R in the independent music scene for prospective bands.
● Field incoming phone calls throughout the office.
● Assist managers in day-to-day tasks for artists.
● Suggest and assist with implementing ideas and projects for company & artist growth.
● Develop marketing campaigns for artist tours, record releases, digital media.
INTERNSHIP OUTCOMES: At the end of this internship, the student will be able to… (list of learning objectives): ● Understand the role of a manager in guiding and supporting an artist’s career.
● Have an overall understanding of all the various roles within the music business and where management fits in the bigger picture.
