Belmont University is excited to welcome the Music Biz 2017 convention, presented by the Music Business Association, back to Nashville May 15-18 at the Renaissance Hotel! We encourage students to take advantage of this awesome learning and networking opportunity by attending Music Biz’s 100+ events including the Career Development Workshops; special hands-on sessions with Pandora, Spotify, Amazon, SoundCloud, among others; live music showcases; meetups; mixers; awards presentations to Adele, Lukas Graham, Maren Morris & more; keynote presentations with Troy Carter and Julie Greenwald; the NSAI Songwriter Circle featuring Rhett Akins and Rivers Rutherford; and so much more: musicbiz2017.sched.com 

Students will also have the opportunity to meet and interview with representatives from top companies in the music industry during ‘Career Day’ on May 18. Last year’s event spawned internships and full-time positions for students at CAA, SESAC, Universal Music Group, and more!
