Meet people in the industry by participating in SOLID’s Bowl-a-thon!

SOLID bowl

Bowl-a-thon – April 9th from 5:30pm-8pm.  Must be 21+ to participate. AMF Pla-Mor Lanes (2906 Foster Creighton Drive, (Berry Hill/100 Oaks area) Nashville, TN 37204)

SOLID takes part in an annual bowl-a-thon and we were wanting to offer current students the opportunity to participate (put together a team, fundraise, etc.). It would be a great opportunity for those who want to participate to be able to network with young professionals in a very, very relaxed setting and raise money for a good cause.  Last year SOLID collectively raised $35,000 for BB/BS and we’re aiming even higher this year.

On April 9th, young professionals from all aspects of the music industry will join together to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.  Different businesses and organizations create teams of six and raise money prior to the event, and then each team that meets the $750 goal will get two free games, free shoes.

Details:
– Individuals can play if they raise a minimum of $150
– Teams can play if they raise a minimum of $750 (that’s $125 per person for a six-person team)
– Sign up at tnbowling.org

1. Go to tnbowling.org
2. Click the “Register” button at the top of the page

What does it mean to “Bowl for Kids’ Sake?”
Think of Bowl for Kids’ Sake as a “bowl-a-thon”. You and your friends have signed up in advance, raised as much money as you can, and then enjoy a fun, free bowling party on our SOLID’s Music Row Madness night. Basically, it’s the most fun you can have in rented shoes.

What does Big Brothers Big Sisters do?
Big Brothers Big Sisters provides mentors to children in need.
When you serve as a role model to a child, you impact things happening now… as well as things to occur many years from now.
Big Brothers Big Sisters conducts regular youth and adult surveys to ensure that children in the program are showing the positive strides they know they are capable of in many critical areas:  educational improvements, critical decision making, and the child’s self -confidence and interaction with adults.
They hold themselves accountable for the children in their program. And do everything in their power to ensure that they achieve success.
