April 18, 2012
4-7pm, Vince Gill Room

Attention all musicians, writers, artists, managers, and/or budding entertainment entrepreneurs: Would you like to have a pair of expert, legal eyes look over an entertainment contract?  Do you have questions about how to copyright your music or artwork? Have other entertainment law and business questions?  Sign up for a 30-minute appointment to learn how to meet with a lawyer and receive free legal advice from Nashville entertainment lawyers.  They’ll answer questions about intellectual property (including copyrights, trademarks, and licensing) and all manner of entertainment law issues such as band partnerships, royalties and more.  Open to all Belmont students.

To register:  All consultations will take place on Wednesday, April 18.  The program is FREE, but you must sign up for a 30 minute time-slot by emailing vlpa@abcnashville.org. Some walk-in appointments will be permitted on a first-come, first-served basis, so register for your appointment ASAP!

Belmont Faculty Coordinator: Prof. Cheryl L. Slay, cheryl.slay@belmont.edu.
