Banner is changing and you will need this information in order to know how to work with the new version. Keep reading for all the details.
What is happening?
Banner 6 will be upgraded to Banner 7.
When is it happening?
December 22-28, 2005. During this time all Banner resources will be unavailable.
Why should I care?
The way in which you access the forms environment (e.g., where faculty go to release advising holds) of Banner changes with this upgrade. Specifically, your blue shortcut is no longer the access point for Banner. The main menu and forms will appear differently. In anticipation of this change we offer a variety of training options.
If you exclusively use BannerWeb (i.e., Web for Alumni, Web for Development Officer/Advancement, Web for Finance, Web for Employee or Web for Faculty) you’ll see minimal changes.
How can I prepare?
