Deadline Approaching for QEP Survey Input
Please respond soon to the survey about Belmont's QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) topics. To view the QEP topic briefs and survey, log onto your BIC account and click on the QEP button on the left-hand side of the page. Use the dropdown menu of the QEP site to view the topic briefs and participate in the survey. The deadline for survey responses is Oct. 7, which is when the faculty/staff/student QEP selection team will be meeting to identify either one of the topics or possibly a "fusion" of ideas from the topics as our QEP. Thank you very much for participating in this important part of Belmont's SACS re-accreditation process.

Team Belmont Needs You!
Join the Beaman Center and Health Services now in support of breast cancer research in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K walk. This noncompetitive walk begins at 9 a.m. on Oct. 24 at LP Field and unites people of all ages to help find a cure for breast cancer. We know that a strong group of Belmont faculty, staff, students and alumni can make an impact. Follow this link to the Team Belmont main page to join our team. There is no cost to sign up for this event, and students can get convo credit. Update to Commuter Benefits for Train, Zipcar
The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is adding train service from Lakewood to downtown Nashville beginning Tues., Oct. 13. Anyone can ride free from the Lakewood station on Oct. 13, and temporary service will operate until Oct. 23. Tickets will be required after Oct. 13, but as with all bus and train transportation, this benefit is free to Belmont students, faculty and staff. BIC will be updated when tickets are available for the Lakewood station. In addition, a free Zipcar App is now available that makes it easier to reserve Zipcars from your iPhone or iPod touch. Download the free app from the iTunes App Store.
