Memorial Gifts for Dr. Gabhart
Several individuals have asked how to honor the Gabhart family in the passing of Dr. Herbert C. Gabhart, Belmont's chancellor and former president. The family has requested that memorial gifts be made to the “Herbert C. Gabhart Student Fund” at Belmont University. Individuals may click here to give and simply designate the gift to the Herbert C. Gabhart Scholarship Fund which you can choose as an option from the dropdown menu. Anyone with specific questions can contact Laurianne Cates in the Development office at 460-5517.

Pedestrian Map Shows Safe Walkways Around Construction
A pedestrian map has been updated to show safe walkways around current campus construction. For safety reasons, please note pedestrians should not walk through level P4 of the Inman Garage to access the northeast side of campus but instead use Wedgewood Ave. and 15th Ave. To view the pedestrian map, click here.

Offer Your Input on Belmont's Quality Enhancement Plan
The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a relatively new requirement of SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) reaccreditation. The QEP gives us a chance, as a community, to evaluate our current needs and dreams for our campus and our students and to develop an initiative that will result in continual improvement in learning experiences. Details on Belmont's six QEP proposals may be found on the QEP pages of Belmont’s SACS Web site. Use the pull down menu box at the top of the page to see details on each of the six QEP proposals, names of QEP team members and a link to a Survey of Topics where you can provide feedback. The Survey of Topics, the last link in the pull down menu, will be open through Monday, October 5. (Please keep in mind that the rest of the SACS Web site is currently under construction—the other pages on the SACS Web site do not represent final content.)
