Belmont University participated in the “Duck-oration” silent auction held to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. Belmont’s bird, designed by Belmont’s Office of Communications and signed by Dr. Fisher, joined other ducks decorated by the Tennessee Titans, Mayor Karl Dean and the Jonas Brothers to name a few. The silent auction was a kick-off event to the Duck Regatta to be held September 19 at Riverfront Park. Ten-thousand rubber ducks will be dropped from the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge to race down the Cumberland River.
