ANNOUNCEMENT

Graduation Parking Update for Faculty and Staff
Given the large crowds anticipated for tomorrow's commencement, the Office of Campus Security would ask that all faculty and staff park in the Thrailkill or Inman garages or on a surface lot on campus on Saturday morning. This will allow our campus guests to park in the Curb Garage and have the quickest access to the graduation ceremony. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.

In addition, Belmont will also host graduation ceremonies for several area high schools later this month. These include:

Father Ryan High School: Sun., May 17 at 11:30 a.m.
East Literature Magnet School: Mon., May 18 at 7 p.m.
Overton High School: Tues., May 19 at 7 p.m.
Ravenwood High School: Sat., May 23 at 11:30 a.m.
Harpeth High School: Fri., May 29 at 7 p.m.

The university will have extra campus security officers on duty for each of these events to help direct graduation traffic into campus parking lots and parking garages. For those ceremonies that are expected to draw larger crowds, Metro police officers will be stationed at key intersections on Belmont Blvd. and Wedgewood Ave. to help maintain smooth flow of traffic before and after the ceremonies. We are glad Belmont can play a role in celebrating a significant milestone in the lives of so many young people. Thank you for your patience during these events.
