IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS
Belmont is a Christian community of learning and service that strives to support its members through prayer. The following concerns have come to our attention recently. Thank you for including them in your prayers:
Dr. Shed H. Caffey, father of Betsy Caffey (President's Office), passed away on May 9. Memorials can be sent to Baddour Center, P. O. Box 97, Senatobia, MS 38668 or Christ United Methodist Church, 4488 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38117. Please keep the Caffey family in your thoughts and prayers.
Sasha McCarthy Clapper, son of former Dean of the College of Business Administration Jim Clapper and adjunct consultant Debbie Clapper, died April 25 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Portland, Ore. A memorial service will be held on Sat., May 16 at 4 p.m., in the Clyde and Mary Hall, in the Laskey building at Scarritt Bennett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Cycling Center, 1700 N.E. Alberta St., Portland, OR 97211. Please keep the Clapper family in your thoughts and prayers.
