Integrity in the Classroom, Ethics and the Economy
Belmont's Center for Business Ethics hosted a convocation on Monday titled "Faculty and Students Supporting Academic Integrity in the Classroom: A Dialogue." The purpose of the event was to explore ways that faculty and students can counter cheating and dishonesty in the classroom and on the campus. Tackling another tough but timely topic, on Mon., March 23, the Center will host a second panel discussion, this time focusing on "Is the Economic Crisis a Failure of Ethics Decision Making?" This event occurs at 5 p.m. in Neely and features Belmont faculty members Dr. Pat Raines and Harold Fogelberg, along with Vanderbilt Law's Robert Tuke and TrustCore Financial's Barbara Richards.
