IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS


Belmont is a Christian community of learning and service that strives to support its members through prayer. The following concerns have come to our attention recently. Thank you for including them in your prayers:

Mary Evelyn (Mary Lyn) Barnes Cunningham, daughter of Susan Barnes (Media Studies), passed away on March 6 after a long illness. A memorial service was held in Beaumont, Texas on Monday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, P.O. Box 1629, Beaumont, TX 77704-1629. Please keep Susan, her husband John and the Barnes and Cunningham families in your thoughts and prayers.

Linda Sue Wiseman McCown, sister of Betty Wiseman (Athletics) and a 1970 Belmont College alumna, passed away on Feb. 27. Memorial contributions may be made to Elmer Hinton Library, 301 Portland Blvd., Portland, TN 37148. Please keep Betty and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Hugh Donald "Don" Wetzel, father-in-law of Jennifer Wetzel (Office of Communications), passed away on March 6. Expressions of sympathy are asked to be made in the form of donations to Kentucky Wesleyan College or to Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. Please keep Jennifer, her husband Ross and the Wetzel family in your thoughts and prayers.
