Frist Center Offers Free Admission to Belmont
As a thank you to Belmont University for tremendous efforts to bring the Presidential Debate to Nashville, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts invites Belmont faculty, staff and students to visit the Frist Center for free Feb. 21–March 1, 2009. Nashville Ballet Offers Special Discounts to Belmont
Nashville Ballet offers special discounts to the Belmont community. The ballet's artist receptions and Sneak-Peek performances are free, and there is a 20 percent discount on all performances for Belmont faculty and staff. The discount codes for that option would be ticket type UNIV at the TPAC box office or using password UNIVERSE20 when ordering online. Below is the current schedule and information on how to order tickets.

February 13-15 and 20-21: Twyla Tharp’s Sinatra Suite, James Canfield’s Jungle, Salvatore Aiello’s Clowns & Others, and Paul Vasterling’s Adjustable Wrench (Polk Theater at TPAC)

Fri., April 24-Sun., April 26: The colossal and spectacular Carmina Burana. Nashville Ballet joins with the Nashville Symphony spilling out into the aisles of Jackson hall, the 200-voice Oratorio Choir from Belmont University, the Nashville Children’s Choir to perform the world-famous score. Tickets for these performances range from $19 - $72. Groups of 10 or more receive discounted rates. Call 297-2966 ext. 10 for group tickets. Single tickets can be purchased from www.nashvilleballet.com, by calling 255-ARTS or in person at the TPAC box office downtown and at Davis-Kidd Booksellers in the Mall of Green Hills.
