2008 Opening Convocation
President Fisher will deliver the annual State of the University address, and the University Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Jeffery Ames, will present the musical selection. Because this is an opportunity for the entire campus community to come together and celebrate the beginning of the academic year, offices will be closed so that all faculty and staff may attend. Faculty will line-up, beginning at 9:45 a.m. on the sidewalk adjacent to Wilson Music Building. In case of inclement weather, the line-up will take place on the lower level of Massey Performing Arts Center. The faculty are to process in academic regalia.
