Belmont Mansion to Host Free Twilight Festival
The Belmont Mansion continues a streak of offering free community, family-friendly events with its first Twilight Festival. This party has a Natural Curiosities theme with an Acklen family twist. Guests will enjoy the open air entertainment including Victorian-period music and performances, kid craft activities and games, a three-toed sloth courtesy of the Nashville Zoo, screech owls, vultures and an assortment of birds. The Mansion is also offering discounted tours - $5 - of the Belmont Mansion and its signature Bell Tower. Bring your picnic blanket and enjoy this festive atmosphere along with delicious offerings for purchase by local vendors Hot Diggety Dog, Fleur du Lis Flavors and Las Paletas. William Myers: Prints
Bill Myers is an artist and illustrator of numerous posters, books and magazines for adults and children as well as the creator of murals, and album covers. For the film Nashville, he created the artwork used in the opening credits, the soundtrack cover and poster.
