CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to the nominees for the 2008 Presidential Faculty Achievement Award. This year the committee received more than 120 nominations, mostly coming from the graduating classes of Fall 2007 and Spring 2008. The winner will be announced during the 2008 Spring Commencement. Please congratulate each of these amazing people for their contributions to student life outside the classroom: Jeff Cornwall, College of Business Administration; Lucyellen Dahlgren, College of Nursing; Ruby Dunlap, College of Nursing; and Pam Parry, College of Arts and Sciences.
The Presidential Faculty Achievement Award is complementary to the Chaney Distinguished Professor Award, which focuses on excellence in the classroom. The purpose of this award is to focus on the outstanding contributions our faculty members make to student life outside the classroom, and it was named and generously endowed by Frank and Carolyn Sheffield.
