Show We Care
This week’s Belmont FYI feature profile of the week has been a part of the Belmont community for eight years. Joe Smolira was nominated for the first guiding principle – Show We Care – for his work as Assistant Professor of Finance.
What Joe enjoys most about his job is the community atmosphere. “Belmont is a great environment,” Joe said. “The students and people who work here are extremely friendly and are always willing to lend a hand if needed.”
For Joe, to show we care means following The Golden Rule. “It really is about doing the best you can at that moment,” Joe said, “and it’s important to treat people with respect.”
