Today's featured fitness interview profiles V. Keith Mason, the coordinator of Music Techonology in the College of Visual and Performing Arts' School of Music.
What is your favorite type of exercise?
Racquetball. I play two to three times a week, whenever possible.Have you noticed a difference in yourself?
Absolutely! I have more energy throughout the day. I tend to think, focus and concentrate on everyday tasks more efficiently, and I am able to maintain my weight.
With such a busy schedule, how do you fit healthy living in?
I plan my workouts in my calendar every week just as I would for teaching a class or attending a meeting.Free for all students, faculty and staff, the Beaman Student Life Center offers a recreational gym, racquetball courts, indoor rock climbing wall, weight/cardio center and at least 21 weekly group fitness class options. On Nov. 3, Team Belmont participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, with more than 60 people from Belmont racing three miles to support breast cancer research and awareness.
