Important Announcement: New BU IDs
On Dec. 26, Administrative Computing will be converting all Banner ids from the social security number to a new randomly generated id called the BUid. This is an effort to protect privacy, minimize the risk of fraud and comply with federal regulations.
Faculty and staff will be receiving a letter the first week of December with important information about the new BUid. In preparation for this, Faculty and Staff need to review/update the permanent mailing address in Banner. This can be accomplished by 1) logging into your campus BIC account, 2) select BannerWeb, 3) select Personal Information, 4) select view addresses to review. If the permanent mailing address needs to be updated, select update addresses. For the type of address to insert, click the drop down arrow and select permanent, then click submit and follow the instructions on the update page.
