Vaughn Science Lecture: Rev. Dr. John Polkinghorne
Rev. Dr. John Polkinghorne, a Fellow and former President of Queens' College, has taught at Edinburgh and Cambridge. He has served as the Chairman of the Science, Medicine, and Technology Committee of the Church of England's Board of Social Responsibility. In addition, he has written several books regarding the compatibility of religion and science and received the Templeton Prize for Science and Religion in 2002. A well known physicist, writer, and priest, Polkinghorne will be speaking on Interpreting Quantum Theory. A reception will follow the lecture.
