It's All Belmont To Me - Belmont FYI Feature Profile of the Week
Walk the Talk
This week’s Belmont FYI feature profile of the week has been a part of the Belmont community for 28 years. Dr. John Moore was nominated for the fifth guiding principle – Walk the Talk – for his work as Systems Analyst in Administrative Computing and Instructional Technology.
After studying at Christopher Newport College, Old Dominion University, Morehead State University and George Peabody College, Dr. Moore served as a Professor of Psychology at Belmont for four years before beginning his career in information systems. "I enjoy most the interaction with other people at Belmont. I'm fortunate that the areas I support on campus are composed of people who have the viewpoint that we're all working toward the goal of making Belmont a better place."
Dr. Moore notes that his office often gets called when departments need help with special projects, and he does his best to respond to their requests in an efficient manner. "'Walking the Talk' to me means making it easier for other folks to do their jobs effectively."

Do you know a Belmont employee who embodies one of the five Guiding Principles? Nominate them for a Belmont FYI Feature Profile of the Week! Please send their name and a brief description of how they meet the criteria to the It's All Belmont to Me Committee for consideration.
