It's All Belmont To Me - Belmont FYI Feature Profile of the Week

Do It Right

Sarah Brown 2.jpgThis week's Belmont FYI feature profile of the week is Sarah Brown. She was nominated for the third guiding principle, "Do It Right," for her work as Booking Coordinator for the Curb Event Center and Inman Conference Center. Although Sarah has only held this position for two years, she is no stranger to the Belmont community, as she earned a Belmont finance and music business degree in 2005 and is currently enrolled in the Massey School's MBA program.

Sarah says what she most enjoys about her job is that no two days are ever the same. She also enjoys working with so many different people on campus and especially appreciates her co-workers in the Curb Event Center and Auxiliary Services without whom she would not be able to successfully complete her job.

Sarah feels to "do it right" means taking ownership of your work and always being prepared no matter how big or small the event. "My goal is to make sure every event is a success," Sarah said. "Also, if I don’t have the answer to a question, I always try to find it out. Chances are I am going to be asked the question again. "
