Sparrow Records recording artist and Belmont alumnus Steven Curtis Chapman will be the first guest writer in this year’s ASCAP Writers’ Night Series.

Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business Presents "The Insider's View"
"The Insider's View" series will focus its first session on “Writer/Producer: The Creative Interplay” by featuring Grammy-nominated writers/producers Drew Ramsey and Shannon Sanders. Ramsey and Sanders have written and produced for artists such as India.Arie, Marc Broussard, Kimberly Locke, and Randy Travis. Belmont's Harry Chapman will host the event.

Transfer of Light Opening Reception, 4-6 p.m.
Transfer of Light: Photographic Visions of Gina Binkley, Bob Delevante and David McClister will have an opening reception from 4-6 p.m. Thursday. This diverse group of photographers documents contemporary life in black and white and in unexpected original ways. The exhibit will run from Sept. 12-Oct. 23.
