This week’s Belmont FYI feature profile of the week is Debbie Jacobs, Executive Assistant in the Office of the Provost. She was nominated for the first guiding principle – "Show We Care."
Debbie came to Belmont four years ago, first to the school of music, where she says she felt blessed to begin her Belmont career. She says she now enjoys her position in the provost’s office because “no two days are ever the same.”
Debbie hopes people recognize her willingness to listen and her team-player spirit. “I’m naturally outgoing and positive, and no matter what is on my desk, I try to stop and listen to everything that comes my way and approach the situation with a can-do attitude.”
“Being a part of the Belmont community has been such a blessing to me,” Debbie said. “I hope that shows in everything I do.”
