It's All Belmont To Me - Belmont FYI Feature Profile of the Week

Do It Right

Linda-Jenkins FYI.jpgThis week’s Belmont FYI Feature Profile of the Week is Linda Jenkins, who has been a part of Belmont for 18 years. Linda was nominated for the third guiding principle - "Do It Right" - for her work as program assistant in Belmont's undergraduate School of Business.

One way Linda "does it right" is through her commitment to the business school's adjunct faculty. A few years ago, Linda and the School of Business recognized the need to better orient and welcome adjuncts to the Belmont community, so now Linda oversees an adjunct faculty orientation program to provide the information and warm welcome they need.

Linda says she feels blessed to have worked with such wonderful people for 18 years, and that she takes pride in everything she does. "I want people to think of me as someone they can depend on to provide accurate and honest information," she said. "As they say, 'a job worth doing is worth doing well' - that's exactly how I feel."

Do you know a Belmont employee who embodies one of the five Guiding Principles? Nominate them for a Belmont FYI Feature Profile of the Week! Please send their name and a brief description of how they meet the criteria to the It's All Belmont to Me Committee for consideration.
