This year's Christmas at Belmont performance will be December 2 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. Christmas at Belmont tickets for the Belmont community will be available Monday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. through Tuesday, October 31. There is a limit of four tickets per family through the end of October. On November 1, tickets will become available to the general public. Please use this early release period to ensure your family’s seats. The performances are free, but each guest must have a ticket. Up to four additional tickets may be requested on or after November 1. These tickets will be issued based on availability. All ticket reservations will end Friday, December 1st at 4:30 p.m. To reserve your tickets, e-mail christmasatbelmont@mail.belmont.edu between October 16 - October 31.
The Center for Business Ethics Presents “Anatomy of a White Collar Crime” Walt Pavlo, President of Etika, LLC on Monday, October 16 in the Jack C Massey Business Center. A networking reception will be held at 5 p.m. and the presentation begins at 5:30 p.m. After being convicted for a multi-million dollar fraud, and serving several years in prison, Mr. Pavlo founded Etika, LLC, a company that enables him to share his experiences in order to help others avoid the same mistakes he made.
The Faculty Woodwind Quintet will perform Monday October 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Belmont Mansion.
The Black Student Association asks for participation of faculty, staff and students in a canned food drive beginning October 17 through October 28. BSA will donate and shelve all goods collected for the Nashville Rescue Mission. Designated bins will be placed around campus for donors to place canned foods. On Saturday, October 28, Belmont students will "trick-or treat" for canned foods in the surrounding Belmont area from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to conclude the drive for goods.
"International Action on Darfur: The Contribution of the International Criminal Court (ICC)" is the title of a talk to be given on Tuesday, October 17 at 11 a.m. in the Neely and Black & White Dining Room. The speaker is John Washburn of the United Nations Association of the USA, a specialist on the United Nations, the ICC, and the role of international NGOs.
The Jazz Small Group I and Jazz Band will perform Tuesday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Massey Concert Hall.
Jazzmin, a vocal jazz choir, and Company, a vocal show choir, will perform Thursday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Curb Café.
Belmont University’s Community Choir, Bella Voci, performs Sunday, October 22 at 4:30 at Belmont Heights Baptist Church.
Belmont Camerata Musicale - Belmont University’s resident chamber ensemble will present Classicism and Neo-Classicism: Mozart and Shostakovitch on Monday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Belmont Mansion.
The 6th Annual Fall Academic Fair is Wednesday, October 25, from 10 a.m. - 11:30 in the Beaman Student Life Center, rooms A and B. See Bic for more information or contact Patsy Peach at x6401.
On Friday, October 27, the Beaman Student Life Center and the Belmont Softball Team offer "Parent’s Night Out" from 6-9 p.m. Bring your children ages 4-12 to the Beaman Student Life Center for games, activities, food, a climb up our wall and snacks. E-mail me the name and age of the participating child to montielm@mail.belmont.edu . This is a free event so take advantage of your Friday night and leave the babysitting up to us!

One student, faculty or staff person will be selected from among one of the 200 Pontiac ACIS Flag Football campuses to win a 2007 Pontiac Solstice.
