The Biology department's Tri-Beta plant sale concludes this afternoon in front of Gabhart. There is a good selection of indoor and outdoor plants at reasonable prices.
Stop by the Beaman Student Life Center access control desk to register for the ACIS Pontiac Solstice Sweepstakes. One student, faculty or staff person will be selected from among one of the 200 Pontiac ACIS Flag Football campuses to win a 2007 Pontiac Solstice. Enter the sweepstakes between September 25 - November 27. The winner will be announced on December 6. For more information, click here.
The Department of Theatre and Dance will perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare through October 8 in the amphitheatre. Check BIC or call x6199 for specific show times and other information.
You are invited to celebrate Belmont's top ten ranking in U.S. News and World Report with two special events. On October 10, Dr. Fisher will deliver a "coffee and Krispy Kreme donut break" to designated areas on campus. Dr. Kristi Whitten, Associate Professor of Voice and Director of the Belmont Opera Theatre, will perform a classical vocal concert on Monday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Belmont Mansion.
The Belmont University Orchestra presents Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Tuesday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Massey Concert Hall.
This year's Christmas at Belmont performance will be December 2 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. Christmas at Belmont tickets for the Belmont community will be available Monday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. through Tuesday, October 31. There is a limit of four tickets per family through the end of October. On November 1, tickets will become available to the general public. Please use this early release period to ensure your family’s seats. The performances are free, but each guest must have a ticket. Up to four additional tickets may be requested on or after November 1. These tickets will be issued based on availability. All ticket reservations will end Friday, December 1st at 4:30 p.m. To reserve your tickets, e-mail christmasatbelmont@mail.belmont.edu between October 16 - October 31.

On Friday, October 27, the Beaman Student Life Center and the Belmont Softball Team offer "Parent’s Night Out" from 6-9 p.m. Bring your children ages 4-12 to the Beaman Student Life Center for games, activities, food, a climb up our wall and snacks.
