Interest Meeting for Music City Star Rail System

Dear members of the Belmont community,

Belmont University is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Regional Transit Authority to provide free train transportation on the Music City Star rail system to all students, faculty and staff, becoming the only employer in Nashville to offer this benefit. The train operates from Lebanon to downtown Nashville's Riverfront Park with stops in Martha (near Highway 109 and I-40), Mount Juliet, Hermitage and Donelson. Belmont has also made arrangements for direct van transportation to campus from Riverfront Park and returning to Riverfront Park from campus.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this benefit, please make plans to attend a meeting on Wednesday, October 4, at 10 a.m. in the Massey Business Center, room 203A. We will provide information about the train service, obtaining train tickets, and using the shuttle service between Riverfront Park and campus. If you are unable to attend but would like additional information, please contact Alison McCommons (mccommonsa@mail.belmont.edu or x6441) in the Office of Administration.

Sincerely,

Jason B. Rogers
Vice President for Administration
