Biology professor Steve Murphree will again offer school aged children opportunities to explore the insect world by attending “Beetles, Bugs and Butterflies.” Click here for dates and specific information.

The deadline for The Chaney Distinguished Professor Award nominations is March 3. If you would like to nominate a colleague who has taught at Belmont full-time for at least three years, you may do so by emailing your nomination to votechaney@mail.belmont.edu or by sending your nomination to one of the committee members: Marilyn Young, Robert Grammer, Mary Vaughn and Richard Churchman.

Seeking Nominations for the Presidential Faculty Achievement Award. You are encouraged to nominate a deserving individual who has made outstanding contributions to student life outside the classroom for the 2006 Presidential Faculty Achievement Award. Those eligible are faculty who have taught full-time at Belmont for three years, or are adjunct teachers who have taught 6 of the last 8 semesters. Contact Margaret Howell at howellm@mail.belmont.edu for a nomination form. The deadline for nominations is February 28.
