Coming Up


We will gather as a campus community to mourn the deaths and celebrate the lives of Lee Griggs, Becka Lear, (Dustin) Jack Wells and Aidan Lloyd today, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Massey Performing Arts Center. Please continue to keep the family and friends of these students in your thoughts and prayers.

Belmont University will be closed for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on Monday, January 16.

There will be a worship service to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Wednesday, January 18, from 7-9p.m. in the Massey Concert Hall. For a complete list of MLK events, click here.

The School of Sciences will host the Vaughn Science Lecture Thursday, January 19 from 7-8p.m. in the Massey Boardroom. This year's speaker is Dr. William Bass, Professor Emeritus and Founder of the Forensic Anthropology Center at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

A Celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King will be held Friday, January 20, from 10-11a.m. in the Massey Concert Hall. For a complete list of MLK events, click here.

The Nashville Ballet and the Belmont Scholl of Music collaborate to present a ballet for children, The Emperor and the Nightingale on Sunday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. in Massey Concert Hall. Free Admission.

New Faculty Dr. Jennifer Coleman, soprano, Dr. Matthew Manwarren, piano, and Dr. Joel Treybig present a classical performance Monday, January 30 at 7:30 pm in Belmont Mansion. Free Admission.
