Coming Up
The Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats are returning to the Curb Event Center on February 9, 2005, at 7:30 p.m. We have set up a special ticket price for Belmont University Faculty/Staff and Students bearing a BU ID: $8 ticket price (totaling $10.24 after tax and fee), limit 6 per person. Prices for non-Belmont folks are $15 Adults and $8 Children under 12.
The next Staff Meeting will be on Thursday, February 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Beaman Student Life Center Rooms A and B.
Belmont’s Department of Education will host a one-hour Orientation to Teaching Session on Monday, February 14. The session will be held in the Bunch Library Multi Media Room on the 2nd floor. Topics will include Conceptual Framework, Department of Education Processes, Teacher Interviews, Practicum Placement, Licensure, Praxis Exams and Live text. There are two times students can attend that day: 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This will be a very informative session and is mandatory for all Undergraduate and M.A.T Education students. The Center for Entrepreneurship and the Center for Business Ethics will present Fr. Robert A. Sirico, Co-founder and President of the Acton Institute, on Tuesday, February 15. A reception will be held at 4:45 p.m. with the address at 5:15 p.m.
Dr. Robbie Pinter will have a book signing for her book, For This Child I Prayed, at David-Kidd Booksellers on Monday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m.
