The New Century Journalism Speakers' Series presents Rev. Edwin Sanders, Pastor, Metropolitan Interdenominational Church, on October 20, at 10:00 a.m. in Massey 103.

Jazzmin will perform on Thursday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Curb Cafe.

The New Century Journalism Speakers' Series presents Freedom Forum John Seigenthaler on October 22, at 10:00 a.m. in the Massey Boardroom.

Belle Voci is Sunday, October 24 at 4:30 p.m. in Belmont Heights Baptist Church.

Belmont Camerata Musicale Celebrating Charles Ives is Monday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Belmont Mansion.

The New Century Journalism Speakers' Series presents former Tennessean editor Frank Sutherland on October 27, at 10:00 a.m. in the Neely Dining Hall.

NOTE THE LOCATION CHANGE: The Public Relations Society of Belmont and the Journalism Club present "Outfoxed," an Academic Lecture Convocation, on October 27 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Neely/Black and White Dining Room. Panelists Include: Dr. Sybril Bennett, Dr. Vaughn May & Professor Thom Storey.

The Staff Affairs Chili Cook-off is October 29 at 11:30 in the Neely Dining Hall. If you would like to enter a pot of chili, contact Bonnie Wagonfield at x6451.

Belmont's Homecoming Festivities will now be held the week of January 17, 2005. On Friday, January 21--Belmont will host Lipscomb in Men's Basketball and play UCF on Sunday. Belmont Women's Basketball will play Stetson on Thursday and Jacksonville on Saturday. There are also several other activities that will occur that week. Specific details will follow in the next few months.

Make plans to participate in Bruin Den Day, the second-annual neighborhood service day, held in conjunction with Homecoming 2005. On Sunday, January 23, Belmont students, faculty and staff will join for worship and breakfast before assisting our neighbors with various clean-up projects.
