From the Black Sea headed for the river
Loosely translated from a cell phone conversation just a few minutes ago:
We just finished our third orphange visit of the day....some had nice facilities and some are just hard to describe. Our schedule changes every day based on the activities that each orphanage plans, it's just part of being flexible that we are adjusting to. We stopped by the Hope House project last night, the one the Forest Hills' group built, and met the family who will be living there, that was pretty neat. I understand that some of the kids from another Hope House will get to spend some time with us on ship...that will be a treat for them and us as well.
We're leaving the Black Sea tonight, headed for the Dnipro river. With tons of stories to tell when we return,
Bob C.

As I read the reports from each day, so many memories come back to me. I have tears now remembering the handicapped orphanage and all the children that I touched, but more the children that touched me. I wonder so many times about the children that stole my heart on past visits. Thanks to all of you for your heart for missions and I know this trip will be life changing for you, as if was for me. Sincerely, Judy Franklin

Bob, I have imagined you, taking pictures; and Linda, painting faces, every day. Thanks for the call, you sounded terrific (inspite of the breeze blowing across the deck of the ship *insert envy here*).
You guys are in our thoughts and prayers,
Paul:)

Bob,
If you will take me to Corky's for sweet ribs and banana pudding, followed by a trip to see the Nashville Sounds play baseball, I'll come to Nashville and listen to a few pounds of your "tons of stories." Keep up the great work. Your family is proud of you - and of Linda also. Dan

Hey! That's my dad's picture on the blog!! What's the deal here? I've been bounced around Tennessee like some kinda mutt! Finally, I am with my Uncle Mike and Aunt Martha back in Nashville. Has anybody seen my hotdog?? What's it take around here to get someone to take me out for a walk!?!!

Bob,
I did not know that you were going on this Missions Trip. What a blessing that these children will have you there as my child has you at FHBC. I know that you are spreading sunshine to them. See you soon in the nursery.
