Flash Widget in Flickr Experiment

Within the ranks of the Flickr photo community are a number of creative developer/contributors (hacks) who are constantly coming up with new toys. Flash Widget is a quick and easy way to display images from a group in a blog post. I am not particularly crazy about the flexing of the image area for different sized images... so I am experimenting with the widget using horizontal images that are close to the same dimensions. The other bad news - your flash slide show lives on someone else's server and you/I should feel guilty if we don't make a donation to keep it running.

Later Update: The extra white space below the flash player is there to allow the view to flex for a vertical image without pushing your posts off the bottom of the page (or breaking something). I am not crazy about the white space thing...but hey, this is free stuff and it works!
April 9, 2007 Update: Looks like this widget doesn't work for WordPress users. Hat tip to Salem's Lots.
