A Meaning of Success
Paul Orfalea, Founder of Kinko's, spoke at the USASBE conference I attended this past weekend. Here is his definition of success:
"Success in life is having kids who want to come back to visit you when they've grown up."

I fully agree.
It is a trite saying but ambitious people will have to ask themselves -- do I want to be a successful businessman, or do I want to be a successful person.
There is a very big difference in this. Most people can become successful businessmen if they are wiling to sacrifice most things that make life meaningful. But it will take a good amount of balance to become a successful person which will include having a happy family.
