Death Tax Issue Needs Attention Now

The repeal of the death tax, which is a major issue for most entrepreneurs due to the nature of most small business incorporations, is scheduled to sunset in 2011. It is important to keep this issue alive (no pun intended) so that this tax is permanently repealed, and does not rear its ugly and unfair head. The death tax is something that my father's family business has had to address because their entire business was soley in my grandfather's name for many years. With the help of lawyers and tax planners, they have found several solutions to help minimize and possibly avoid death taxes. I hope that the death tax is permanently eliminated, however entrepreneurs should plan accordingly and take steps to decrease their liability.
