Health Services has received a new shipment of the seasonal flu vaccine (not to be confused with the vaccine for the H1N1 virus). Flu clinics will be held Mon., Sept. 21 in the lobby of Wright Hall and Thurs., Sept. 24 in the lobby of Maple Hall. These clinics are open to all Belmont students, faculty and staff. The vaccine will cost $16. If you have questions, contact Health Services at x5506.

Belmont Health Services has received its first shipment of the seasonal flu vaccine (not to be confused with the vaccine for the H1N1 virus). Students, faculty and staff can begin receiving vaccinations on Wed., Sept. 2 and Thurs., Sept. 3 in the conference room of the Teaching Center, which is located on the second floor of Gabhart. Hours will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The vaccine will cost $16 and is payable by cash or check. Those wishing to pay by debit or credit card will need to check-in first at Health Services. Thereafter, the vaccine will be available in the clinic. Departments wishing to schedule their own “flu clinic” may contact Health Services to make arrangements.
A vaccine to protect against H1N1 influenza is expected to be released later this fall, and Health Services will inform the campus once that vaccine is available. For more information on H1N1 and how Belmont is responding to this ongoing situation, visit www.belmont.edu/h1n1.
