As we begin another school year and address parking concerns, the Office of Campus Security has determined that both the Inman Garage and the Curb Event Center Garage are filling by 9 a.m. each weekday. Once filled, the turnover of parking there is very slow, but there is usually still parking available in the Thrailkill Garage located in the Bruin Hills Apartment complex area. This garage is available for use by commuter students and faculty/staff as well as the residential students who live there.

Construction of the Pharmacy Building and the Residence Hall has taken quite a bit of parking in that area of campus. There is still space available in the gravel lot at 15th Ave. and Acklen Ave., the gravel lot beside the old Security Building at 15th Ave. and Acklen, and what's left of the paved lot behind the Psychology Building. The section of Acklen Ave. between 15th Ave. and the construction site is also available unless otherwise blocked for construction use.

For your safety, we ask that you refrain from parking on city streets, especially on 15th Ave. or Villa Place across Wedgewood Ave. from campus. Crossing busy streets such as Wedgewood is extremely dangerous and should only be done at a crosswalk at an intersection.
