The 13th Annual Celebration of Cultures Festival, a free event that aims to bring people together to celebrate the cultural diversity of our community, will be held this Sat., Oct. 3 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Centennial Park. Named by the Southeast Tourism Society as a fall 2009 Top 20 event in the Southeast, the festival will showcase the traditions, art and dance of more than 40 cultures.

Presented by Scarritt-Bennett Center and the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, the event is free and open to the public.
