Ten Belmont freshmen are selected to participate in a year-long program in which they move through a series of various types of experiences as a cohesive unit learning about teamwork, leadership, communication, community service, organization and self- purpose. Topics to be included in the program: team building, communication skills, event planning, time management, self motivation, personal purpose and mission. Students will have the opportunity to network with campus administrators, current student leaders and community professionals. Students will be required to complete a series of tasks, including being given a budget and the necessary resources to create, plan and implement a campus-wide event/program for the Belmont community. Applications are available in the SGA Office (1st floor Beaman Student Life Center— across from the Rock Wall). Deadline for applications is noon on Wed., Sept. 10.
