NCAA Tourney Shirts on Sale

The shirt marks our third consecutive trip to the tournament and features fantastic headlines that chronicle our accomplishments as well as the names of the players and coaches that have made the last few years of Belmont basketball great! Shirts are on sale in the Athletic Department for $10 and will be available in the cafeteria during lunch on Wednesday. Dining Vendor Fair Thursday, April 3 in Neely

Belmont Dining is hosting a vendor fair on Thursday, April 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. We will have representatives from our natural and organic vendors in the Neely Dining Hall to sample their products for students. Kashi and Naturally Fresh are just a few of the businesses that will be represented at this event. Come by Neely to sample salads and vegetables and talk with our vendors about their green initiatives and about the trend towards more organic products.

Volunteers Needed for Environmental Event

Volunteer are needed to staff an information table for Walk/Bike Nashville at this year's Green Business Summit at Lipscomb University. The event will last from April 1-April 5, and the table needs to be staffed all day. Service Corps Blood Drive March 31

With all the catastrophes going on recently, blood is in limited supply. Sign-up or stop by the Neely Dining Hall on Mon., March 31 and join Service Corps in helping out the American Red Cross by donating blood. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and all Belmont students will receive community service convocation. Service Corps and the American Red Cross have sign-ups online at www.givelife.org to schedule an appointment. Use sponsor code Belmont19, and choose the Service Corps blood drive. Then register and sign-up for a time. Walk-in donor spaces will be very limited, so please take the time to sign-up today. Country Music Marathon Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for the Sat., April 26 Country Music Marathon in Nashville. There's the potential to earn up to 10 community service convocation credits and get a ticket to the post-celebration concert as well as a certificate of participation and free T-shirt. Must be at least 14 to participate. Students, faculty, staff, friends and family are all welcome to volunteer. Three interest meetings: Tues., March 18 from 12:15-1:15 p.m. in HSB 408; Tues., March 18 from 5-6 p.m. in HSB 207; and Wed., March 19 from 10-11 a.m. in HSB 207. ATO Fundraiser Kick Off Set for April 2

Alpha Tau Omega is setting out to make university history this year by raising $20,000 in the 1st Annual ATO Golf & Walk Classic, a benefit for Blood:Water Mission. The brothers, along with other members of the campus and local community, will be gathering personal and corporate sponsorships as they either golf or walk at Nashville's Harpeth Hills Golf Course on April 30 to support this mission. Anyone interested in learning more about Blood:Water Mission or participating in this event should attend the campaign kick off event/dessert night on Wed., April 2 at 8 p.m. in the Beaman.

Former Ambassador to Bolivia to Speak on Friday

On Fri., March 14 at 10 a.m. in MBC 109, former U. S. Ambassador Richard Bowers will speak on his experience as Ambassador to Bolivia 1991-1994 and his diplomatic career in the Foreign Service. Bowers will discuss his rise through the ranks of the State Department as a foreign service officer to becoming an ambassador to America's largest and most complex embassy in South America. Climb With Outdoor Pursuits At King's Bluff

Outdoor Pursuits is headed to the climbing area at King's Bluff and will establish various top rope routes of all skill levels for participants to climb. This will be a full day of hanging outside and climbing many different routes based upon the interest of the group. No previous outdoor climbing experience is needed! One in 9 people (more than 20 million Americans) have Chronic Kidney Disease, and half of them don't even know it. Anyone 18 years or older with high blood pressure, diabetes or a family history of high blood pressure, diabetes or kidney disease may be at risk.
