Outdoor Pursuits For New Students
The Belmont Summer Experiences offer a wide variety of opportunities for new students to connect to Belmont and Nashville through unique experiences. Trips include a white water rafting weekend, songwriters retreat, caving weekend, tourist weekend in Nashville, and an urban immersion program. The Summer Experience will help students build relationships, develop a deeper commitment to the university, and transition into their college experience.

B.O.P. is headed east for an overnight camping adventure to Fall Creek Falls State Park!
We will be leaving Saturday, October 27th to post camp for the night, go on hike to see some sweet waterfalls, and camp out in the woods for a night. This is a great opportunity to get out of the city and see what Mother Nature has to offer. Transportation and camping equipment will be provided. Registration forms are located in the Beaman Center by the Intramural forms. Space is limited so sign up today!!!
Outdoor Pursuits heads northwest to rock climb outdoors at King’s Bluff.
Trip leaders will lead participants down to the climbing area and establish various top rope routes of all skill levels for participants to climb. This will be a full day of hanging outside and climbing many different routes based upon the interest of the group.
No previous outdoor climbing experience is needed! The trip will be from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The cost is $15 and registration forms can be found in the Beaman Center by the Intramural Forms.Limited space is available so sign up today!
