Amundson Named to All-America Scholar Team
Men’s golf team member Danny Amundson (Sioux Falls, S.D.) has been named to the 2008 Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar Team. The rising senior served as team captain for the Bruins this past year and delivered consistent performance. With six Top 20 and two Top 10 finishes, Amundson led Belmont in scoring average for a second straight season (74.33). A four-time Atlantic Sun All-Academic honoree, Amundson was a finalist for the 2008 Athletics Directors’ Character Award and is recipient of the Belmont University Glover Accounting Scholarship.
